JOB TITLE : Software Engineer
LOCATION : Portland, OR and unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately once a month to client sites.

DUTIES : Gather and analyze data from various sources, including network performance, customer, and financial data. Utilize statistical models, data mining, and machine learning techniques to extract insights and identify patterns. Develop predictive models to understand customer behavior, predict churn, and optimize network performance. Work closely with network engineering, product development, and marketing to integrate data-driven insights into business operations. Identify areas for improvement in customer experience, network performance, and business operations through data analysis. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively. Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in data science and apply them to solve business problems. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and implement appropriate data governance and security measures. Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data visualization tools. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately once a month to client sites.

REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of a Software Engineer, Database Administrator, Linux Administrator or equivalent. Prior experience must include 2 years of experience with:

1. Working in the telecommunications domain
2. Applying statistical analysis and data mining techniques to analyze data
3. Using statistical programming languages like Python and R
4. Applying machine learning algorithms and techniques to develop predictive models
5. Gathering, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources and performing data governance
6. Maintaining databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases
7. Leveraging data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to communicate insights effectively
8. Developing models to predict customer behavior and optimize network performance

Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. Domestic travel required approximately once a month to client sites.

RATE OF PAY :$135,200 per year
